doramas vip
doramas vip a story of murder and mystery, has me hooked! I don't know why I'm drawn to stories like this, but it's true: they're gripping and suspenseful. Catil748 1985 by Joanna Martine Woolfolk takes place in a small town on the French Riviera. Thirty-something attorney Jeanette and her eccentric cat, Yolande, are the perfect couple - they live in a beautiful villa overlooking the ocean, they're playful and mischievous, they're sad and lonely, and they struggle with their personal and professional lives.
When Yolande becomes severely ill, Jeanette takes her own life. Years later, when Jeanette's daughter is going through a horrible divorce, she witnesses her mother's murder. She carries the pain of loss in her heart as she faces the other grief-stricken families of her beloved cat. But when a new cat arrives in town and starts to stir up trouble for both old and new friends, Jeanette must find out who this "new" cat really is. And along the way, she has to deal with a killer that wants to get into her head.
I absolutely adored this book. It kept me reading. I adored the colorful descriptions of the environment and the little scenes of everyday life between Yolande and Jeanette. The storyline was suspenseful and fast-moving, and I felt immersed in the story from start to finish.
Catil748 1985 was a grand surprise. I hadn't expected such greatness. Even after finishing it, I was eager to read more by Joanna Martine Woolfolk. This is a definite must-read for all mystery lovers.
Also, did you know that Catil748 is available as a whole series? Yes, you can choose a book in the original Catil trilogy. You can start with the first novel, "The Mysterious Isle." Then move on to "The Necromancer" and "The Stone Seal."
All the characters in Catil are well drawn. There is no one who isn't adorable. I especially love the little minx named Mint. Everyone in the book is extremely well drawn, and they fit the situation nicely. The book is a real page turner, and that's what a great mystery should be!
The plot of the book revolves around a young girl, Mint. She and her father are suspects in the disappearance and murder of a man named Alex. A few years later, Mint is approached by a man named Mark, asking her to visit his aunt's cottage at the dead man's request. When she does, she learns that Alex had been buried alive, and that his killer had used a diabolic substance to kill him. At the very end of the book, it is revealed that Alex's killer had been a member of the IRA.
The book ends with a twist that will definitely amaze you, and it's a good kind of a twist. What I didn't know going into this book was that the book would end with a twist, but that's exactly what happens. It makes the book memorable and entertaining!
Well, that's it for my review of The Catil748 1985. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and will be back next in order to tell you about another book that I just read. The main characters in this book are a great addition to our cast of characters and were enjoyable to read about. So, go buy The Catil748 1985, and enjoy!
